A weekend of Blues!

Begin your blues experience on Friday at any one of the venues in the historic port precinct.  Dine and be entertained at the award winning Oscar W’s Wharfside, Nik’s Greek Taverna, Antonio’s, the historic Star Wine Bar and Café and The Shamrock Hotel.

Come Saturday from 9.00 am until high noon its Blues in the street with Hare Street, Echuca’s main shopping drag, coming alive with the Blues.  Blues will shake up the Moama Up-Country market and the historic port precinct will resound with bands in venues and roaming the streets until late.

Enjoy some of the many delights which this exciting Murray River town has to offer such as shopping, cafes, clubs, wineries and cellars, attractions and of course its paddle steamers. There may just be time to enjoy lunch at the fabulous Echuca Beechworth Bakery whilst stomping to the Blues. 

 


 
 
     
    As for Saturday night it’s full on!

There will be bands performing at the Star Wine Bar and Café, the historic Bridge Hotel, Radcliffe’s Restaurant, Oscar W’s, Antonio’s On The Port, The Shamrock Hotel, Echuca Hotel, or for a very different night take a cruise on the PS Canberra to Morrisons Winery and Restaurant for dinner and blues. If you have enough stamina, you can join the crowd at the Star Bar until the early hours.

     
   
 
Sunday is Free Blues in the streets!

Sunday is the BIG day with bands in the street, on the corners, in pubs, cafes, restaurants, bars and venues in and around the historic port. There will also be street performers, face painting for the kids and much, much more. Just be in the historic port precinct from 11.00 am until 5.00 pm and you will hear FREE Blues, Blues and more Blues! You can also “Cruise and Blues” over lunch on the PS Canberra.

Featured bands: Collard Greens and Gravy, Jimi Hocking, Nick Charles, The Wolfe Gang, The Detonators, Spectrum, Ginja Roe, Kelly Auty, Craig Horne and the Hornets,  George McFloyd and Salty Dog.
